Analysis: The headline of an online ad is integral in creating engagement and yet contains such limited characters.Therefore, each word is important to ensure the overall headline entices users to click.Using an AI tool to help you create a list of good headlines and then picking and choosing pieces of what’s provided to create an even better one can be an effective strategy.We told both applications to provide us with some headlines for a car insurance ad. Interestingly, both relied heavily onhyphens or colons to separate their benefits and call-to-action.Both also elaborated on their approach at the bottom of the suggestions.Each platform provided similar, quality headlines, but DeepSeek wentthe extra step by also providing some emojis—an addition that has proven to generate higher engagement in ads when they’re permitted.That gives them the tie breaker in an otherwise even head-to-head.Winner: Not determined. The result is marginally different.I call it even for this round.

My take: From my experience, you should have a small book of proven workingheadlines so that you can tweak them a little to fit your marketing campaigns. AI headlinesare not proven to work. They may look good on the surface but at some point, you will seethat most of them just don't sell.
